Outdoor Adventures


Fishing - try your luck for striped bass, sand bass, catfish, and the elusive river monster aligator gar in The Red River from our two miles of riverbank access. Fishing licenses are available for purchase in Muenster, TX.

Hiking - Marked trails offer a variety of scenic outlooks, challenge levels, and distances. Choose the challenge based on your endurance and group needs.

Spring offers secluded fields of wildflowers and winter brings migratory birds and Bald Eagles to the River. This option offers a great way to foster teamwork on a retreat or unwind.

Camping- Camping on the Ranch property is for experienced campers only. We have no formal campgrounds as we seek to keep the property as close to its original landscape as possible. We ask that you pack out whatever you pack in.

Clay Pigeon Shooting – Sharpen your shooting skill enjoying skeet shooting at our shooting range.

Bike Riding - Bring your own bike and enjoy the fun of the outdoors from a bicycle.

Horseback Riding – If you are a horse-lover, you know that the best way to see beautiful land is from the back of a horse. The Ranch is covered with miles of trails appropriate for horseback riding. Many of the trails will lead you to beautiful lookouts over the Red River or fields of wildflowers.

We will provide you with a guide or with landmarks and directions for the best views. Horseback riding trips are available by prior reservation. Horses are not provided by the Ranch, but we have barns and corrals available for your horses by reservation.

Birding – North Texas is one of the top birding destinations in the world. It is home to a diverse range of birds and waterfowl year round. We are proud to be included in the Great Texas Wildlife Trails , sponsored by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

It is not uncommon to see Eastern Mountain Bluebirds, Painted Buntings, and Red Tailed Hawks on our trails. In the summer, hummingbirds flock to the Lodge’s porch while the endangered Least Tern has nesting grounds on the sandbars of the Red River.

With over two miles of Red River shoreline, the variety of migratory water birds is spectacular. In the winter, Bald Eagles visit and roost in the trees along the river shore. Let us prepare a picnic basket to top off this experience.

Wildlife - Various types of wildlife from white tail deer to eagles offer the outdoor enthusiast a real treat. Viewed from our wrap around porch or from a riding tour, you will enjoy this to opportunity to view nature up close and personal.

Photographer and Artist Retreats-Reserve a blind to catch the wildlife of the Ranch in their natural habitat. Guides are available to use calls to lure animals close for video, photographs, or sketches and painting.
